Young aspiring arts students are often discouraged by family and friends to pursue a degree in fine art.
However, according to an article in USA Today via the art news website Artinfo.com, today's art grads are finding employment in the arts and are satisfied with their careers.
A survey conducted by the Strategic National Arts Alumni Project (or SNAPP), found that 92 percent of a total of 13,581 alumni from 154 arts schools are employed and more than half work professionally as artists.
Besides working independently in the arts, there are various museum positions and here is a job listing of the top 10 fine art museums around the world.
