You may be familiar with Myanmar's political situation, but did you know that the country has a dynamic performance art scene?
And if you are an artist, you now have the perfect opportunity to see firsthand as there is an open call for artists to submit works to the International Multimedia Art Festival, which is sponsored by the French Institute and New Zero Art Space in Yangon.
So if you do painting, installation art, performance art, documentary, photo art and/or video art, please apply by sending samples of your art.

Exhibition Date: November 23-25, 2012
Selected artists will be provided a hotel fee and per diem.
