Artist Marcel Duchamp's Fountain is on view at The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh, Scotland. The work is in a major exhibition of 120 works from both the Scottish national collection, and the D. Daskalopoulos Collection, and will remain on view until September 8, 2013.
The controversial artwork created a furor and a heated debate whether an ordinary urinal could be considered a piece of art. It is now highly regarded as one of the most important artworks of the 20th century.
