The Ashmolean Museum in London recently acquired 500 fine silver works from the Renaissance and Baroque periods which was in the collection of the late silver merchant and expert Michael Wellby who died last year.
The photo shows a 'silver gilt ewer with enameled royal arms of Portugal' that dates from around 1510 AD.
